Mya turned 7! She got her hands on an Oriental Trading catalog & picked herself out a Dolphin party. She had been planning it since summertime. Needless to say she was beyond excited!
It was our first time renting a bounce house - we surprised Mya with it the day of the party - it was a huge hit!
Mya & most of her good buddies: Andrew, Kyndal, Brayden, Landon, Hannah, Ada, Mya, Zoe, Carley, & Kate. Grandma Nae also made trip down - thank goodness I really needed her help. Mya always wants Grandma to there - can't have a party with out her :)
Carley was so excited for Mya's party - she spent a good hour getting herself ready & putting on a lot of make-up. She was really upset not to get to sit by Mya but felt better after she got to help pass things out & sit by her when she opened her gifts.
We had a dolphin ring toss, a marble hunt, played spray the dolphin, & had a dolphin pinata!
Mya's actual b-day was on Sunday & she opened her family gifts. Her big gift this year was a Skylanders Swap Force video game. Her cousin got her obsessed back in March & she has been dying to have her own.
Mya & Carley made a deal with each other to get each other Glitzy Globes for each others b-days (Mya's idea)!
She wanted banana cream pie with out nuts.
Mya at 7: She is an incredibly creative & thoughtful girl. She is always making her family & friends cards, pictures, & little notes. She has a tender heart but is tuff at the same time. Is is amazingly talented. She started first grade this year & is getting straight A's & really taking off with reading & is quite good at math. She has been playing soccer, started piano lessons, is taking dance & tumbling classes. She is a natural leader. She is fun to be around & to talk to. She is a good sister & daughter. She still LOVES dogs & most animals, pink is her favorite color, she loves arts & crafts, she enjoys creating things & wrestling & fighting. We love Mya with all our heart! I couldn't imagine a better girl. So glad she's ours!!
