Baptism Camping Trip Weekend

Dad and Daughter camping and fishing trip. It was great to spend
time together and talk about Mya's upcoming baptism.
We just setup out tent.

Fishing at Big Lake. Mya caught three fish I caught one.

Grandpa Coach looking happy as ever.

Looking for the perfect spot.

Mya driving the boat.

Horse back riding with Nana. Mya rode solo.

Mya eating her catch of the day.

Marsh mellow time!

Wow that's a great fire!

Setup the tent.

Just started the fire.

While G & M were away Carley & I had some fun of our own! First we went to dinner at Someburros then shopping at Old Navy.

Doing some jewelry shopping! This kid could look at jewelry for hours! She scored a 3 tiered pearl necklace & some bracelets. She also picked out a ring for me.

After a trip to Yogurt Jungle (C's favorite dessert place) she made a wish at the fountain. She kept saying "I wish I wish" so cute.

The next day we started early by going to soccer practice - she is doing awesome!
We went to the movies after to see Dolphin Tale 2 & got pedis after. This is a picture of Carley after getting her nails done. New dress & jewelry we got the night before.

Our picture strip from the movie theater.
C slept in my bed both nights & we had a lot of time to talk. She is a lot of fun & I really enjoyed our time together. She said that she "never wants to go fishing" I couldn't agree more ;)

Grandparent Lunch, Crazy Rain, & a Church Carnival

Sept. 5th was the Grandparent lunch at Mya's school. She was SUPER excited to have Grandpa & Grandma Moose join her!

She's so happy!

Monday, Sept. 8th  was a record breaking day for rain down here. G stayed home from work & we cleaned blinds (the freeways were flooded) & we took C out to lunch when she got home from school.

More rain fun Tuesday afternoon!

On their way to soccer - first practice of the season. G is coaching Carley's team this time.

Our stake had a carnival this past Saturday. They had games, food, entertainment. The kids had a blast! This is the prize Carley got from the fishing game!

Face painting: a dolphin & a rainbow.

They had the most fun playing in the dirt at the end of the night. Carley participated in her first cake walk. There were tons of people there so the lines were long but I'm glad the girls got to have some fun.

30 weeks today! 10 weeks before we meet Lola - it's gone by so fast!

August 2014

First day of school!!! 2nd grade & Kindergarten.

She had a great first day & loves going to school!

This was the second day. So pretty! She has such a fun teacher this year!

13 year anniversary! We celebrated a week late but had fun trying some new things. My mom came down to watch the girls for the day. G & I started off by going to Scottsdale to watch & movie & eat lunch at the Studio Movie Grill. We got 90 minute massages after that & ended the day at the Melting Pot. It was so nice to have a full day of relaxation & fun together!

Carley trained Mikey to get in the wagon & she pulls him around. It is SO funny - Mike acts super embarrassed about it.

One of her b-day gifts from Grandpa & Grandma Moose. I finally took her shopping to use her gift card.

At the end of the month we headed to the Sanderson's for our friend football fantasy draft! Always a fun time!!

July 2014

I think I'm about 18 weeks here. We had just found out the week before that we are having another GIRL!!

We went to Flag for the 4th. The girls are at the parade. It was raining a lot & the fireworks got delayed. We ended up going home late that night. The entire day & 1/2 we were there was a disaster. I was sad to leave & that things got so crazy but we went to Big Surf the next day & had a nice weekend!

N.Y.C
Our first night there we went to Chicago after having a FABULOUS meal at Carmines.

We went on a walking tour that was so fun! Here we are in Central Park.

My ankles swelled up like elephant feet from all the walking!

We finally found the Shake Shack!! It totally lives up to all the hype! There was a 7 Eleven across the street that made the experience that much more enjoyable ;)

Night bus tour! It was really fun to go over the bridge to Brooklyn & see everything at night. We saw the Broadway shows Cinderella, Phantom of the Opera, & the absolute best show of all time Newsies! We ate at the Noodle Bar, a super good pizza place, & a great cupcake shop in West Greenwich. The weather was wonderful - just a fantastic trip! Celebrity sighting @ Fluffy's Deli: Kenny Wormald from the new Footloose!

G took the girls to Taylor for a few days while I was gone & both girls trotted on the horses by themselves for the first time!!

The day after I got back G had his hand surgery. We had a lot of ups & downs with this process but happy that his hand is functional again!

Off to tumbling camp in their sweet NY shirts!

On our way to meet friends at the new splash pad. I'm about 22 weeks.

My mom & Camille came down 2 weeks before school to shop. We took the kids to Matuku Island first - they loved it & we ended up going back a week later with some friends.

Carley's 5th

I cannot believe Car bug turned 5 this summer!

Some of her favorite gifts: little babies with bunk beds, pink cowgirl boots, wedding barbie set (Nae), Mermaid barbie (Gardea's). She also got lumi-dough & kinetic sand.

She wanted to get a pedicure (put my feet in the water) for her b-day. So she, Mya, & I went to my favorite place.

Daddy/Carley time! Out for Carley's favorite - Yogurt Jungle!

That night she choose Someburros for her family b-day dinner.

In Flagstaff a few days later for her Snow White party.

Bobbing for apples.

7 Dwarfs treasure hunt.

Pie making.

Carley is so funny & such a sweetheart. She nicknamed herself "kissy". She loves make-up, playing barbies, is into babies now, making all toys look pretty, shopping for jewelry & make-up, & doing anything with Mya. She is so smart & selfless. We are so proud of this happy little girl!
