Mother/Daughter "Cake Wars" Activity Day activity

Mya was super cute serving me refreshments. I always enjoy my 1 on 1 time with her.

She was SUPER excited to decorate a cake & found a cool idea online that we tried to recreate. I think it turned out great!

My heart wasn't into soccer this season - Lola is in a very "busy" stage of life & still took a morning nap during most of the season + the girls had back to back practices/games that ended up being 2 1/2 hours buuut beside my bad attitude the girls played well. Mya was in the oldest age group this time & had a lot of injuries & played for an 1 1/2. She had great coaches & hung in there. She's aggressive & competitive & wants to play soccer professionally some day! Hannah was also on her team this time which was a lot of fun. Carley was the oldest on her team & did great. She can run like the wind! She didn't know anyone on her team this time but had her best season yet!

Annual Cultural Celebration at school!

Carley studied Armenia & Mya studied the England area & did a cookbook which was fun & different than the usual poster-board.

We had both AC units replace after years of making repairs we decided it was time! So Lola & I had a looong day at home waiting around. I can't believe she's already 1 1/2!?! She knows most of her body parts & several animal sounds. She loves the Wiggles & Elmo. She is a big tease & loves to eat anything & everything. She keeps us laughing & shocked & exhasted all the time with her shenanigans!

Since I didn't make it to her field trip we went & got pedicures together. We hit Target after for a cute shirt & to check out the jewelry (a Car Car favorite). Carley is just the cutest!! When we got back Gordon & Mya went to see the new Jungle Book movie.

Finished toes!

Lola's first official day going to nursery (they let her in a week early). She cries at the start & then stops but mostly wants to be held & does not like going to her "class". Hopefully it gets better soon! It really should be something she enjoys - she loves other little kids, toys, & snacks - we think she just feels like she's getting ditched!

Final awards assembly of the year! Carley got the "Good Citizen" Award along with Principles Honor Roll.

Mya received Honor Roll, AR Goal, & Perfect Attendance.

Both girls had excellent teachers this year & learned a ton! We are blessed with girls that are not only naturally smart but are willing to work hard. Mya also received an award for having good character!

Last day of school!!! 5/24/16

Best.Kids.Ever.

All of the kids that have summer b-days in Carley's class got this crown the last day of school. When I went to check on her before bed this is what I saw!! Haahaa!

I didn't take any pictures but Carley had swimming lessons at the end of May. She did really well & improved her skills. With in a few weeks of summer starting she took off jumping off the diving board/high pool rock ledges. She's gotten really brave! No lessons for Mya the fish this year!
