Flagstaff

At the end of July the girls & I took our summer trip to Flagstaff. We had been looking forward to it all summer. The weather was great, cool & a little rainy. Four days of mountain BLISS!

On our way down to Banjo Bills in Oak Creek. We also tried out a new ice cream place in Sedona after. There was a freaky bird that kept stalking us & it tried to bite Mya. Rabies anyone...?

Carley is really liking babies right now esp. her cousin Greyson.

So my mom had this idea to set up a tent in the basement & buy all the kids sleeping bags to have a sleepover together. In theory it was an awesome idea but Carley & Reggie lasted about 2 seconds. Uncle Chimpie took Mya & Pierson out for their first bon-fire & smores. Once they got back they slept in the tent for about half the night and that was the end of the tent.

Pictures of the kids rock climbing in Oak Creek. The water was pretty cold so the kids mostly climbed. Carley was freaking out about bugs most the time. But there were a ton of black berry bushes so the kids had fun picking.

We went to the park, had a freezing short picnic in the rain, swimming at the aqua-plex, lots of La Fonda, & lots of jumping on the tramp = a successful fun trip! Side note: the first day we got there my mom locked us out of the house. The girls kept saying "Grandma Nae Nae locked us out". Carley still brings it up!
