Fall Break - California 2016

Our first family vacation - party of 5

Our first time at LegoLand

These cars were a big hit & the main reason Carley wanted to come to LegoLand.

Lola's favorite place was the little play area.

I think she went down these slides 100 times!

Train ride after throwing a huge fit & breaking my phone :/

Carley LOVES these drop rides

In line for the shortest roller coaster I have ever been on.

We liked Lego Land - it wasn't to busy & it was toddler friendly. It closes super early so we went to dinner after at El Polo Loco - our best meal of the trip!

Final prizes - happy girls
They played with their new Legos at the hotel most the night after.

Waiting for the girls to get off a ride & watching Lola play in one of the little Lego building stations

Beach Day in San Diego

G & the girls out running waves

We played in the sand a lot with our Dollar Tree finds

The weather was gorgeous the entire trip!

The girls got pretty wet & then we dug a hole

Mya always gets cold & Carley could play in the water forever

Final hole

We had a great time & played at the beach longer than we ever have before.

We grabbed lunch on our way to Anaheim & my sweet husband stopped to get my phone fixed.
Lola was shoving french fries in her mouth like crazy!

Crashed out!
Once we stopped at Target for some supplies & checked into our hotel (G took the girls to the Jacuzzi) we went to Downtown Disney for dinner. Lola saw the big dragon on top the the Lego store & would not stop talking about dragons "draggies" for the remainder of the night.

The first 2 hours at Disneyland were fun after that it was complete & utter HELL!

Happy times!

She loved the carousal & rode it several times while G & the older girls went on Thunder Mountain

Space Mountain

Waiting in a 2 hour line to see Minnie Mouse

Lola through a huge fit on Minnie's front step just before it was our turn to go in.

Tea Time in Minnie's garden

Mya's first time riding California Screamin - she was super nervous at first but then she ended up loving it & went several times!

The end of a crazy day enjoying caramel apples

Toddlers + SUPER FREAKISHLY busy Disneyland = INSANE
I was ready to leave by 11 a.m. - although it was rough & Gordon & I were humiliated most of the day & G took Lola to a remote part of the park it WAS nice to get to spend some 1 on 1 time with each of the girls. M & C were troopers even though their FAVORITE ride Ariel was closed down pretty much the entire day & they didn't even get to ride it once.
Moral of the story Lola will not be allowed to step foot at Disneyland until she is at least 4.

Fun with dad at the Star Wars store

Haunted Mansion - all decked out for a Nightmare Before Christmas
