Mya got the part of King Louie & Carley got the part of Kaa 1 the head of the snake & also is part of the Jungle Chorus. Mya practiced a ton & watched a lot of videos beforehand & really wanted the King Louie part. After she kept saying "is this real?" we both almost cried she was really excited & has been practicing a ton since!

I love that she lets me try out new hair styles on her!

Two weeks of basketball camp for these two! They were ready for it to be over by week two but the second week they were with friends (Hatch's & Sam's) so that was worth it. They learned a lot & both got prizes. Mya got a bag the first week & Carley got earphones the second week. They love the snack bar best! Car has been making baskets all over the place since camp!

June 6-10 & 13-16

The girls also got to do their favorite thing twice in June - Mermaid Swim! They got to swim in their mermaid tails & make crafts & eat lunch. They always have a blast! It's been nice to do it in the summer when it's hot!

Grandma Nae came down for an impromptu visit so while the girls were at Mermaid swim Lola & I met her for lunch at Pete's. Then grandma took the big girls to see "The Angry Bird" movie that afternoon & to the dollar store. Then she & I went out to dinner & cheesecake that night. It was a nice visit. We've had some family craziness the few months prior so it was nice to have some positive time. 6/18/16

The girls are crazy about their dad!! They think he is so funny & want to marry men just like him.

We made a trip to Tucson to visit our cousins. We started at Pump it Up & then went back to the house to play. Lola was pushing the stroller around & I said "do you want a baby for your stroller?" & then she went over to Nolan & tried to pick him up!!! HAaaHAA so Camille put him in the stroller for her. She didn't get far but it was cute! N got the pukes shortly after so we got out of there quick!

To say Lola is into everything is an understatement. We always keep the bathroom doors closed because Lola loves to play in the toilet (or any water) but I left the door open & this is what we found! She did the same thing the next day. The first time it was funny the second not so much...6/24

Camille had the idea to text pictures of the naughty thing the babies do to make each other laugh instead of cry - it definitely helps!

She doesn't like the seat belt to be over her shoulders & she can buckle the top buckle on her own. 19 months old. 6/28/16

Lola milestones (end of June/first of July): she's started to climb more - we've found her up on Mya's vanity table & the toilet. She's communicating better - she usually says the end of words example for grapes she'll say "pes" or cheese she'll say "eese). She can say ma, da, hi, wow, no (noooo), baby. She's been done with a bottle for about a month. She doesn't like milk & says "cueww" when we try to give it to her. Luckily she does like yogurt & cheese. Just this week she cries when she gets in trouble, she loves to kiss each family member before bed each night. When Carley got hurt the other day she came over to hug her. She LOVES dad on Sunday & will hardly even come to me but it's the opposite the other days of the week. She is stacking blocks & doing puzzles. She is super cute when she runs & loves to be chased. She loves fruit snacks - it's our go to when she's upset or needs a distraction. She takes 1 long afternoon nap per day. Sleeps on her tummy & loves a binkie "kie" & her elephant blanket "et". She puts her head on our shoulder when she is sad or trying to get sympathy.
