Silly Cousins

We got to hang with our fun cousins for the day while Ben & Camille went to get some stuff done for their house. We played at the park for like 3 hours.

Pumpkin Carving

Mya thought it was cool to help scoop out the "guts" & Carley wouldn't touch it. We had fun taking turns drawing different parts of the face. This was a really fun night!

Carley's first Field Trip

Our Pre-School (combined with a few other pre-schools) had our first field to a pumpkin patch/farm in October. 

Carley had a lot of fun jumping in the bounce house, running through the hay maze, & riding this little cow train.

Racing Roadrunner

Mya received the "Racing Roadrunner" academic award at school. We are very proud of her for doing so well this year in kinder.

G's B-Day

Gordon turned 34 this year! We went to dinner & came home to open gifts & eat pie.

Gordon also got treated to golf for his b-day from the guys in my family. 

We sure love this guy!!!

Side note: Gordon went Elk hunting the 2nd week in October & got an Elk the first day! Yay for yummy Elk meat & having a great hunter as a hubby!! 

Pumpkin Patch

We had a fantastic Fall Break this last week (besides the kids fighting). The best part of the week is when my sister & her kids came down to go to the pumpkin patch. Mya was looking forward to it all week. 

Hay Maze. It was funny to watch them work their way through it. They spent a lot of time here & even climbed up top & chased each other around.

They also went for a hayride, jumped in the bounce house, climbed the dirt hill, & played in the little houses. TONS of fun!!

Other FUN fall break activities: Jump Street & lunch with friends, went to the park & had a play-date, saw the movie Hotel Transylvania (again - we love this movie) & lunch with some other friends, & just relaxed & enjoyed a break from the normal routine.

First Soccer Game & Other stuff

First soccer games were last Saturday. Carley got tangled in the goal before! Ha Ha!

Both girls played well! Carley really got in there & played. We were impressed! She cried because she wanted to make a goal. Mya took a big fall but got right back up & played! She kept saying "that boy just flipped me over". She does a really great job on defense. Gordon did an awesome job coaching!

It's been about a month now but Mya learned how to ride a bike with out training wheels! She had to learn in the house since it's been to hot outside.

My friend Becky had a idea to get our kinder girls together each week for a "book club". We pick a book, read it, then do an activity that goes along with the book. This was my first time hosting & we read "Pinkalicious" & made pink cupcakes after. SO cute. Carley & her friend Emily were honorary members.
