Tumbling Recital

Mya's 2nd tumbling recital was great! She was so confident. Carley is grounded from recitals & had a babysitter so after Gordon & I took her out to dinner & frozen yogurt. We are so proud of Mya & all of her accomplishments this past year. She's really grown a lot.

Farm

Our first & only Pre-School field trip this year. Super cute/super fun trip to the Superstition Farm.

Mya LOVED these goats! She now wants a pet goat...

M & C playing in the cotton seed. I was impressed with C - she climbed & ran across these hay bails. She's a pretty brave little girl - totally into climbing & slides right now.

The kids drinking milk from the cows at the farm. They got to pick from 15 different flavors to put in their milk. We got chocolate & strawberry.

Farm fun included: animal/farm instruction, pet/feed/brush the animals, hay ride, up close look at the cows, drinking milk, cotton seed jumping, dirt hill/rope climbing. We all brought a lunch & ate at the farm. It was a really nice day & a great way to end our little school year.  

Easter 2011

Mya got up super early & snuck down to look at the Easter baskets. Gordon had to work that morning so I told her she had to wait until he got home to get into them. So she sat for almost 2 hours just staring at the baskets. Ha Ha!

Carley was most excited about the candy filled eggs. The Easter Bunny left a few on the floor leading to the baskets & she picked up each one, shook it, & then opened & ate the candy. Both girls got their first Zu Zu pet - that was alot of fun for them. Whenever Carley see's a picture of or a real hamster she says "Zu Zu".

Carley the Tumbler

Carley started a mom & me tumbling class in April. She did not want her picture taken but I think she looks so adorable in her leotard! She's been having a lot of fun & is happy to have a class to go to :0) She gets so excited to try everything & is getting close to doing a foward roll by herself. 

Fam VaCa 2011

The last week of March we headed to Disneyland for our first family vaca with Carley (love C's beaver teeth in this pic).

A lot of the rides made Carley nervous but she was a real trooper. She mostly liked hanging on the fences & riding the carousel.

We waited in a HOT line for two HOURS with 2 crying girls to see these guys!!! Before we went in Mya had been crying & had tears on her face & said "I don't want Rupunzel to see me like this". The girls were all smiles once they got in.

The last day on our way out we hit the beach. Carley was crying so Gordon & I were trying to get her close to the water. To our surprise when we turned around Mya had been knocked over by a wave & was laying in the sand. It was so funny!

We had a wonderful time! After 2 days at DL & 1 day at Sea World we were ready to come home. The girls traveled well & had a lot of fun.
